Arabella Golf
Estate
Designed and built in 1999, this course has
featured in Golf Digest USA’s Top 60
courses outside of America. The pristine kikuyu
grass fairways have spectacular views across
the nearly Kogelberg mountain range. It is
host to the annual Nelson Mandela Invitational.

Boschenmeer Golf
Club
Designer David Frost has created
a golf course of true championship standard.
At the same time he has achieved a first class
golfing experience that will both challenge
the low handicap and scratch golfer, yet not
be too daunting for the less experienced 'weekender'.
The 27-hole layout lends itself to championship
play, with more simultaneous rounds possible,
which means less time taken to reach the final
hole.
De
Zalze Golf Club
The De Zalze Golf Course situated within
the De Zalze Winelands Golf Estate was designed
by Peter Matkovich (course architect for both
Leopard Rock and Arabella) who has made the
most of the stunning setting and created a course
that places a premium on accuracy.
The course has an excellent mix of parkland
holes with its main defences coming from the
water features on several of the holes as well
as the Oak tree lined Blaauwklippen River which
winds its way through the golf estate and comes
into play at various intervals.

Erinvale Golf Club
Erinvale Golf Club, nestled at the foothills
of the Helderberg and Hottentot Holland mountains
in Somerset West near Cape Town is one of South
Africa's great golfing challenges. Designed
by Gary Player, and the venue for the 1996 World
Cup of golf, Erinvale's beautifully manicured
par 72 championship course boasts some of the
country's most challenging and spectacular golf
holes.
Erinvale's breathtaking mountain and sea views
are an integral part of this unforgettable golfing
experience: the demanding front nine meanders
through parklike terrain, whilst the back nine
provide a contrasting challenge as it winds
its way through the foothills of the mountains
with panoramic views of False Bay.

Hermanus
Golf Course
This course is situated just outside the charming
fishing village of Hermanus, famous as the nursery
for the Southern Right whales which come here
annually to calve. A Bob Grimsdell designed
course, it incorporates gentle parkland fairways
surrounded by mountain and sea views. This course
also recently opened its 3rd nine holes.
King
David Golf Course
Rated as having the best-designed holes in Cape
Town by Rudolph Lake, this golf course is renowned
for staying dry and firm during wet winters.
This, coupled with the fact that it is relatively
sheltered from the notorious Cape Doctor (strong
south-easterly wind), makes it a course for
all seasons.
Mowbray
Golf Course
A regular host to the PGA tour, this is a demanding
championship course. The par 4, 15th hole is
of particular note with a long narrow undulating
fairway and a green overlooked by Table Mountain.
Unquestionably one of South Africa's finest
courses, much of the charm of Mowbray Golf Club
lies in the spectacular views of the Cape Peninsula
Mountains.

Pearl Valley Golf Estate
Resting in the heart of the Cape Winelands,
this Jack Nicklaus signature course forms part
of the 212 hectare Pearl Valley Golf estate.
Surrounded by mountain ranges and within easy
reach of a number of fine wineries, visiting
Pearl Valley is truly an exceptional experience.
It was recently judged to be the ‘5th
Best Golf Course in South Africa’ by Golf
Digest, the clubhouse, swimming pool and sauna
provide plenty to entertain the non-golfers
in your group.

Rondebosch
Golf Course
The Rondebosch Golf course is essentially a
return to the original concept of golf, being
very much a parkland-type of golf course from
which the game evolved. Some tight driving holes,
compounded by undulating fairways and the ever-present
threat of strong winds provide some interesting
play. The course has been changed recently and
some new and challenging features have been
added making the course a good test of golf
for all levels of players.

Steenberg Golf
Club
Nestled in the Tokai forest, just minutes from
Cape Town, this course forms part of the prestigious
Steenberg estate, encompassing a hotel, winery
and award-winning restaurant. The course has
been rated in the Top 10 to visit in South Africa,
affording spectacular vistas of the Peninsula.
Stellenbosch Golf Club
A championship course in a parkland setting
surrounded by mountains and vineyards. Compared
to others in the Cape Peninsula, this course
is relatively well-protected from the wind.
Its position in the scenic Winelands of the
Cape makes the trip to and from Stellenbosch
almost as spectacular as the course itself.
The course is regular host to PGA events and
has been a past venue for the SA Masters and
SA Open.
Westlake
Golf Course
This 18-hole par 72 course is covered with lush
vegetation with towering trees lining many of
the fairways. A very interesting but user-friendly
design with quite a few doglegs. Not a long
course and if you manage to stay out of the
trees you will achieve a good score.
From the 1st to the 18th hole, every step affords
panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
Established in 1932 Westlake Golf Club welcomes
visitors with its special blend of old world
charm and modern amenities in an atmosphere
of conviviality and camaraderie.
